On Sunday 22nd of May, tens of thousands of people took part in the Great Manchester Run.

One of Europe’s biggest 10k runs, participants ran a course which stretches from the city centre, down Chester Road to Trafford Park, and then back up towards Deansgate.

As always, a huge number of celebrities took part in what was the 14th Great Manchester Run, including world champion boxer Anthony Crolla and Coronation Street stars Tina O’Brien and Jack P Shepherd.

But it was our celebrities here at Pin Property who stole the headlines that day. Athletes Rob Spavin, Daniel Pryce and Zuhaib Judge battled the crowd and Manchester weather to complete the race in under 49 minutes, raising a total of £580 for Cancer Research.

Rob Spavin of Pin Property commented “It was a great day for the City and fantastic to see so many people running for great causes. There were a lot of people out supporting the runners too which added to an amazing atmosphere on the day.”

It was estimated 35,000 runners took part and it was understood that over £4 million was raised for local and national good causes. Pin Property would like to thank everyone who supported the team that day and look forward to participating in future events.
